The Māori Outcomes Department at Auckland Council are passionate about lifting the use of Maori language in the workplace.
A phone app had been developed to assist staff with the common uses of Te Reo (language) and tikanga (custom) in the workplace.
Vision8 were brought into the Council offices to workshop some ideas with The Māori Outcomes Team, who were great to work with and had good suggestions of material to shoot.
It wasn't long before three scenarios were given the tick to where the app could be showcased. Within a week Vision8 was filming these scenarios with people using the app. The mobile app is now widely used throughout the council and has become a great assistant for those fresh in using te reo Māori in their everyday lives.
